Hey there, I’m Lavi! I am a person that is non-judgmental and loves creating a safe space for people. My hope is that I can do that for you too. I find so much joy in supporting everyone that I see, whether it’s couples who are in extremely high conflict relationships, individuals with sexual desires that go against societal norms, or anyone who’s felt they’ve had to navigate their experiences alone. Radical acceptance, authenticity, and holding a nonjudgmental stance are values that I hold in my personal life with others and in the therapeutic space with clients.

What I love to do in therapy is help support individuals, couples, and families reach a place where they feel safe and comfortable enough to be vulnerable with their own emotions while also acknowledging the role attachment plays in their life. I greatly enjoy turning a connection that feels uncomfortable, dysfunctional, and dysregulated into a connection that feels secure, loving, and meaningful.

Therapy with me is like cooking a meal together. I’ll provide the pot, you bring whatever is in your fridge, and we’ll slice and dice together. The thing is, I believe you already have all the ingredients to make a banging broccoli cheddar soup (my fav!), we may just need to tweak the ingredient amount or hone in on the cook time. Because helping you find your signature dish, shoot, that’s… chef’s kiss. The recipe doesn’t have to be strict. We can start by adding some familiar ingredients into the pot like your day, your interests, the patterns you know so well in your relationships. As we go, we taste, adjust, and experiment a little to see what feels right. Maybe we want to gently add some more complex, yet important ingredients. Some of these take time to prepare, and that makes sense. I’ll be right there with you as we work with them. These may be ingredients like trauma, attachment wounds, sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, and any other experiences and emotions that feel really tough on the human experience. While these ingredients may feel hard to integrate into this soup, I am confident we can do it together.

Once everything is in the pot, we don’t rush the process. Some things take time to soften and come together, and that’s okay. We move at a pace that feels warm (medium-low heat), collaborative, trauma informed, and attuned to what feels right for you. Over time, my hope is that this process helps you better understand yourself so you can move through life and relationships with more clarity, confidence, authenticity, and a deeper sense of emotional security and secure attachment.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Who does? All you need to do is be yourself. If you’re wanting more understanding, more honesty, and a deeper sense of connection with all areas of your life, with yourself, your body, and with others, and you’re looking for a space where all parts of you are welcome, this is a place we can begin that work together.

When I’m not working with clients, I love finding any reason I can to move my body. When I am feeling active you would find me at grass volleyball tournaments every other weekend, playing ultimate frisbee, or going on long walks through the woods. When I inevitably get injured and am enjoying the comfort of my home, I love to play the drums, watch the scariest horror movie I can find, or play board games with my friends.

What I Learned on Paper

In Theory

I use IFS, attachment-based therapy, Gottman principles, and solution-focused work. But the techniques matter less than how I use them.

I believe therapy is fundamentally about insight, being present, and embodying the human experience. When you truly understand yourself, your patterns and the systems shaping you, you gain the power to choose differently. Real change doesn’t come from quick fixes or surface solutions; it comes from tending to deeper wounds with care and intention. When we give ourselves and each other that kind of attention, healing becomes possible. That’s what creates meaningful, lasting change.

Empathy, curiosity, and authenticity guide both my life and my work. I value collaboration and meeting you exactly where you are emotionally and mentally. I don’t judge, give unsolicited advice, or try to fix you, because humans don’t need to be fixed.

I love conflict, I see it as an opportunity and repair is central to my work, especially with couples. It’s not about getting it ‘right,’ but about coming back, trying again, and learning from moments of disconnection. Together we can build more secure attachment within ourselves and in our relationships.

What Therapy with Me is Actually Like

In Practice

In sessions, I bring a calm, grounded presence with a gentle but honest directness. My approach blends IFS, attachment-based therapy, Gottman principles, solution-focused work, and a sex-positive, shame-free lens. In our work, we can explore not just communication and conflict, but also desire, intimacy, boundaries, and the ways your sexual experiences are shaped by your story, your relationships, and your sense of self. Additionally, I love using IFS with individuals as it allows you to feel more connected with your emotions and body. This framework lays the foundation for self compassion and allows you to build a more loving relationship with yourself and others.

I’m especially drawn to couples experiencing intense conflict where connection feels impossible and every conversation escalates. Together, we work to stabilize those dynamics while also making room for vulnerability, repair, and deeper emotional and physical intimacy. Whether it’s rebuilding trust, navigating mismatched desire, working through sexual disconnection, or healing from past wounds, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and meaningful. Together we can create secure attachment by allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, turning the people around us, and building trust through consistent, supportive connection.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I do this work because I’ve experienced how hard the human experience can be and how that can affect other areas of your life.

I grew up in a high-conflict household and experienced abuse, so I know what it’s like to feel caught in painful patterns without the words or tools to make sense of what’s going on inside. As a kid, I said I was ‘fine’ and stayed quiet, even when I felt anxious, overwhelmed, or sad. Those feelings had to go somewhere, and for me they often came out as anger. Learning to experience secure connection, be vulnerable with myself and others, and show up authentically in relationships has been a journey.

These experiences shape how I show up now. I understand how hard it can be to unlearn old patterns and try something new. And I also know it’s possible. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own, we can work through it together, at your pace.
