What Our Therapists Want You To Know

Celena | coeo therapy | Therapist Intern Collegeville

Celena (she/her)

Come as you are, no prep required. My approach is warm, authentic, and person-centered. I'm not looking for you to have the "right" words or a polished version of yourself. This is a nonjudgmental space where you're seen, heard, and empowered to explore at whatever pace feels manageable.

Trust is where the real work begins. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation. When you feel safe, consistent, and truly understood, that's when healing becomes possible. The insights and changes emerge naturally from that connection, not the other way around.

I specialize in the transitions that define young adulthood. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life shifts. Whether you're working on boundaries, building confidence, managing stress, or figuring out who you want to be, I help you find clarity in the chaos.

You already have what you need inside you. I'm not here to fix you or push you toward anything before you're ready. My role is to offer tools, ask questions, and help you build the confidence to trust yourself. You're the expert on your own life.

Payton (he/him)

Let's keep it real and fluid. I'm welcoming, direct, and I don't hide behind therapist-speak. This space is informal but intentional. I'll guide and redirect when needed, but I'm not interested in rigid structure for the sake of it. This experience is built around you, and we'll figure out together what actually works.

I'm especially passionate about working with young men. I want to be an advocate and a guide for guys navigating anxiety, OCD, career changes, and the pressure to have it all figured out. I know what it's like to battle emotions you don't know how to name or work through. You don't have to do that alone.

I believe in accountability and autonomy. I expect us both to show up for this work, meeting times, and commitments we make. But my goal is for you to walk away feeling like you're in control of your own life, confident in your ability to handle whatever comes next, not dependent on me to solve things for you.

You're seen, honored, and supported here. I want you to feel the weight of being truly witnessed, not just heard. My approach is exploratory and asks a lot of questions to help you think differently, but it's also grounded in compassion and patience. Starting therapy takes bravery, and I feel honored when someone trusts me enough to walk this road with them.

Ren coeo Therapist Intern

Ren (they/them)

Get comfortable and be yourself. Kick off your shoes, grab a fidget toy, move around, whatever helps you show up fully is welcome here. This space is yours to inhabit however feels right.

We'll look at the bigger picture together. Your struggles don't exist in a vacuum. When it's helpful, we'll explore how larger systems (family, political structures, capitalism, and more) shape your experience and impact your wellbeing.

Your body and emotions are part of the process. I work with emotion-focused and somatic approaches, meaning we'll pay attention to what you're feeling in your body and heart, not just what you're thinking.

You are the expert of your own experience. This is a space where you're affirmed exactly as you are. My goal is to help you reconnect with your own inner wisdom as you navigate your healing journey. I show up as a human first, not just a professional, because clear communication and genuine connection are what make therapy actually work.

Six months ago, I was burnt out and questioning everything. Celena gave me actual tools to set boundaries and work through my anxiety. She didn’t just validate my struggle, but gave me real strategies that changed how I show up for myself.
